Speaking for the first time about his strained relationship with his dad in the past, Arjun admitted that his mother Mona Kapoor was hurt when his father left her to marry Sridevi.

“My mother taught me to be respectful to everybody. She allowed me have a separated equation with everybody including her. I`m respectful towards her because she is my father`s wife. She will always remain that. My father is very happy with her and for me that is important," Arjun says
It needs to be recall that Sreedevi and Bonee kapoor both tied the knot in a private ceremony in 1996.
