Srikalahasti MLA Tests Positive For The Virus

The ongoing pandemic originated from China continues to ring danger bells in Andhra Pradesh as the toll of the total cases zoomed to over 40,000. Even the high-rank cases were also reported raising many fears and concerns about the spread of the virus.
Adding more fears about the disease, Srikalahasthi MLA Biyyapu Madhusudhan Reddy was tested positive for the respiratory disease. His wife also contacted the virus.
Following this, the concerned authorities started tracing the people who might have come in contact with the MLA. His family members and relatives were being tested for the virus.
Looking at the cases in the state, as many as 2,602 cases were reported on Friday taking the toll of the cases to 40,646. While 20,298 patients have been recovered so far, the active cases stood at 19,814.
