Telugu Girl severely injured in New York

Srilekha, an engineering student who went to US for pursuing Masters, suffered severe injuries in a road mishap which took place in New York. She was hit by a speeding car while crossing the road on her way to the University of New York. Treatment has been offered to her in the ICU ever since then & the condition is said to be very critical due to the head injury.
It was only on August 14th this far, Srilekha went to US for higher studies. She is a native of Madhira town in Khammam district.
K Suresh & Sumathi, parents of Sri Lekha, were informed about the road mishap by Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy. Even External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj spoke to the Girl's Father on phone and assured them of all possible support. Parents urged Indian Government to provide best medical treatment to save their Daughter.
