'Babu - Even Jails won't be sufficient'

Social Activist Srimannarayana found fault with the orders of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu directing Collectors & Police Personnel to book cases and arrest those who have been opposing Amaravati.
Srimannarayana: 'Even Jails won't be sufficient if all those who oppose State Government were sent behind the bars. We get the doubt if we are in a democratic country or not'.
The Activist alleged TDP Government is using the innocence of farmers as a weapon for land deals. He accused Government of forcefully acquiring over 50,000 acres from farmers. 'We don't belong to any political party. Neither we are against CM Chandrababu nor AP Capital. We are opposing the move of Government to make fertile lands into a concrete jungle. National Green Tribunal (NGT) was approached by us 2 years ago. 70 percent of the people have been objecting the decisions of this Government. We have been receiving threats now…they say arrests will be made if we don't withdraw the case filed with NGT. We aren't scared of any such threats but ready to fight even from behind the bars. CM will be responsible if something happens to us,' he cautioned.
