Several key decisions were taken during the 85th Annual General Meeting held on Monday after Shashank Manohar was elected as BCCI President.

Dethroning N Srininivasan as the ICC Chairman, Shashank Manohar pledged to clean up the system and maintain transparency. Betting & Spot-Fixing in IPL 2013 tarnished the image of the cash-rich league to an extent that main sponsor Pepsi cancelled the contract even before the full tenure. Mr.Manohar who is know for his clean image is planning to bring back lost glory of IPL.

BCCI has accorded Test status to five new Stadiums in the country. Shashank Manohar felt the need for new venues as 12 Tests will be played in India next year. One of the five stadiums include the one in Visakhapatnam.

While Ravi Shastri was removed from IPL Governing Council due to conflict of interest as he is currently serving as Team India Director, Roger Binny was sacked as selector and MSK Prasad (AP Cricketer) replaced him in the selection panel. Shashank Manohar explains Stuart Binny (Roger Binny's Son) who is strong-contender for All-Rounder place in Team India was the major reason behind this decision.

BCCI Chief informs Centre will take a call on India-Pakistan series in December this year.
