Jagan takes fight for Special Status to Delhi

YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday launched his Deeksha at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. He raises the slogan 'Special Status in AP's right'.

Initially, YSRC planned the dharna between 10 am to 3 pm. However, A delayed for about one hour reduced the period to just 4 hours. After 3 PM, YSR Congress Leaders and Supporters will march to the Parliament.

On the other hand, YSR Congress MPs Today moved Adjournment Motion in Lok Sabha demanding a debate on AP's Special Status issue.

Suicide of Congress activist Muni Koti for Special Status only given the required momentum for the cause. With Opposition Parties mounting pressure on TDP-BJP Combine, Centre is likely to make a statement on Special Status in the near future.
