Star Hero upset over cancellation of B Day

Tami star Vijay who is turning 39 on June 22nd has planned to celebrate his birthday much before (on June 8th) at the AM Jail College in Chennai by offering a helping hand to the tune of Rs 1 crore for the needy and differently abled persons. Fans of the actor made elaborate arrangements to make it one of the best events in the recent times.
However, the celebration got cancelled all of a sudden as the local authorities denied permission in the last minute due to political reasons. This move has pained the actor so much and he finally reacted on the developments after keeping mum for a week. "I had reached this stage with relentless hardwork and not many of them might have know about the struggle I had underwent to sustain this position. We have planned to offer financial assistance to 3,900 persons who are poor and differently abled. All I wanted was to help the needy but the celebrations was projected as the move to make it big in politics. All they have achieved was the cancellation of event which would have benefitted thousands of people," commented the star.
It may be recalled that Vijay once announced he has plans to enter active politics. Whether the birthday celebrations are a publicity stunt or for his political gains, all that matters is that the financial assistance will help the poor. Hopefully, Vijay continues to do the good work despite these hurdles.
