Steve Smith Steps Down, Rahane Steps Up!

Steve Smith stepped down as the skipper of IPL Franchise Rajasthan Royals after he was caught red handed scripting ball-tampering during the third day of 3rd Test Match against South Africa. While ICC suspended Smith for one Test Match and fined 100 percent match fee, Aussie Opener Bancroft was fined 75 percent and offered three demerit point. There is severe criticism on ICC for lenient approach towards Australian Players despite deliberate attempt to cheat.
On the other hand, Steve Smith quit as the captain of Rajasthan Royals after receiving backlash for ball tampering. In his place, Team India's Test vice captain Ajinkya Rahane was appointed as the captain of the IPL Franchise.
Rajasthan Royals Co-owner Manoj Badale: 'The game is bigger than any individual and we hold this thought close to our heart'.
Even the possibility of David Warner stepping down as Sunrisers Hyderabad can't be ruled out. He already resigned as Vice Captain of Australian Team.
