Strong Earthquake Hit Taiwan At 1:01 PM

People living in Taiwan's Capital Taipei witnessed buildings moving and landslides on the east coast. Following the quake, Subway services in Taipei were suspended.
So far, There were no reports of any casualties. Taiwan has set up an Emergency Response Center for addressing the situation.
This Earthquake identified at a depth of 18 km was the most powerful one in the Island Nation this year. It brought back the memories of the deadly tremor which struck Taiwan last year.
