By: Tupaki Desk | 31 May 2021 10:46 AM GMTA lot of students across India fly abroad to pursue higher education. The number of students going to foreign countries has dropped significantly last year due to the pandemic. Though the situation is coming back under control now gradually, the youngsters are now facing another challenge.
The academic year in foreign starts from September and students who got selected by various universities were informed to get vaccinated before flying from India. As we know, the government is not giving vaccinations to people above the age of 18 as of now and is prioritizing people who need to take their second dose and people over 45 years.
As a student took it to the notice of Telangana minister KTR and the politician gave a quick response by claiming that he had explained this situation to CM KCR in the cabinet meeting. He said, "Cabinet has decided that Students going overseas for higher education will be given vaccination on priority so they can travel safely. Guidelines will be issued soon with details."
This news came as a huge relief to the students as they need not worry about putting their careers or futures on hold. Youngsters with valid documents will be given vaccines quickly as per the reports.
