Aadhaar - A Threat to National Security: BJP MP

BJP MP Subramanian Swamy opined making Aadhaar mandatory is a threat to national security. He is even contemplating on writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to educate him about the drawbacks of such a rule.
Much to the shock of the Modi-led NDA Government, Subramanian Swamy claimed he is hopeful that Supreme Court would dismiss the rule making Aadhaar compulsory. How would BJP Leadership respond to the shocking statement issued by it's Parliamentarian?
On Monday, Supreme Court issued a notice to Centre over the rule of linking Aadhaar with Mobile Numbers mandatory. Union Government need to offer its response within four weeks.
Apex Court had already confirmed 'Privacy' is a fundamental right. The 5-bench SC Bench will hear the matter related to the constitutional validity of Aadhaar in the last week of November.
