Congress Decides Candidate Name For Palair Bypolls

Congress party has finally decided on its candidate for Palair Bypolls. As expected the party has decided to field deceased MLA'S wife into fray. Sucharitha Reddy, wife of MLA Ramreddy Venkat Reddy, who passed away recently, will be the Congress candidate for the Palair bypolls in Khammam district.TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy met with Ram reddy Venkat Reddy family members on Saturday and held discussions with them. The Congress high command is likely to announce Sucharitha Reddy's name soon.
Meanwhile Palair by elections is turning controversial as the ruling TRS party led by KCR decided not to follow the norms. The aprty has decided to field its minister Tummala Nageswar Rao. Other side YSRCP has decided not to contest in the elections. Jagan took this decision, respecting the tradition of not fielding candidate in bye elections, if the family members of deceased MLA or MP are given ticket. The bye-election for Palair assembly constituency in Khammam district of Telangana state would be held on May 16.
