Rape Threats issued to Actress on Twitter

Singer-cum-Actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi objected azaan (namaz) on loudspeakers during the early hours. Few days ago, She took to Twitter to complain: 'Came home at 4.45 am 2 most aggressive/ear shattering call of azaan. Nobody objects to azaan or prayers during decent hours. But to be waking up entire neighbourhood at 5 am is not civilized. I dont need public loudspeakers to remind me of my God or my duty'.
The 41-Year-Old least expected receiving rape threats from few netizens for raising her objections over azaan on loudspeakers. In response, Suchitra said she feel sorry for India looking at these perverts and their attitude towards women. 'It's no wonder we have become rape capital of the World,' she adds.
Sharing the screenshots of those abusive tweets, Suchitra informed she has filed a police complaint against all those twitter handles. A case under Sections 509 and 67 (a) of IPC was booked.
