"Sudden Demise Of Sri Gopi Krishna Lingamgunta"
By: Tupaki Desk | 7 Aug 2014 11:17 AM GMTIt is with deep sadness that NATS reach out to the Telugu community in United States today to share news of one of our fellow Telugu community member Sri Gopi Krishna Lingamgunta, hailing from Kavali, Nellore District, who met with a severe cardiac arrest on last Saturday evening watching TV at his home in Fishers, Indiana. Family called 911 and paramedics tried to revive his heart by CPR. He was taken to the hospital and unfortunately he was pronounced dead at Indiana University Health Saxony Hospital.
Sri Gopi Krishna Lingamgunta is survived by his dear wife Jyostna who is a House Wife and two kids, son Nitish (8 year old) and daughter Nitya (4 years). His family is deeply affected by this tragedy. While we convey our deep regards to his family, it is also time for our community to stand by them and support them in ways possible just like we always do.
North America Telugu Society (NATS) has been working with Gopi Krishna Lingamgunta's family and friends very closely in monitoring the situation to help with final arrangements and coordinating with his family members here and in India.
We request the honorable members of Telugu community to support our Gopi's family and stand by them and show the solidarity as they grieve through this unfortunate incident for their loved one. In this regard, we solicit your help to raise donations that would help Gopi's spouse and his kids at this hour of need.
We request you to keep Gopi and his family in your prayers and reach out to your friends and family to help raise donations through emails and social media. Thank you all for your support in advance.
