MG Ramachandran and his wife Janaki have no children. Hence, He adopted the seven children of his Wife's Brother. After his death, All of them clashed for staking claim of the wealth earned by the Legendary Personality.
On June 4th, 2008, MGR's adopted daughter Sudha Vijaykumar's husband Vijayan was hacked to death by the goons. Sudha's Elder Sister Banu Sridhar is the mastermind behind this brutal murder. He executed the plan with the help of a police constable and spent Rs 4 lakhs for the murder. The gang had hit the car of Vijayan twice and they attacked with him iron pipe when he got down from the vehicle.
The court has sentenced Banu Sridhar and six others to life imprisonment. Tamilians treat MGR as God but his Daughter has brought disgrace to him by becoming a killer.
Sudha Vijaykumar met AIADMK General Secretary Sasikala Natarajan on the eve of MGR Centenary Celebrations and extended her complete support to her. She went on to say Sasikala alone could take the party forward.
