Sujana Chowdary irked by Special Status speech

Union Minister Sujana Chowdary showed signs of discomfort during the discussion on Special Category Status in Rajya Sabha Today. He was neither able to criticize NDA Government nor demand Centre to accord with Special Status.
At one stage, Opposition MPs questioned Sujana Chowdary if he is speaking on behalf of Union Government or Telugu Desam Party. He, however, refrained from giving a reply before ending his speech.
Sujana Chowdary accused Congress party of dividing United AP for political benefits. 'Uttar Pradesh wasn't bifurcated inspite of Assembly resolution favoring it. But, AP was divided even though Assembly resolution disapproved bifurcation. We haven't faced any issue in United AP. Centre is fulfilling all the promises made in AP Reorganisation Act 2014. It even implemented few of them which weren't included in the Act,' he told.
Although TDP MPs wanted to mount pressure on Centre, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu ordered them not to target NDA any time soon. Sujana abides by the order of party chief.
