Sun TV COO held on Sexual Harassment charges

Chennai police on Friday arrested top executive of Sun TV alleging a sexual harassment on an ex-woman employee. As per the reports COO Praveen got arrested in Chennai by police after harassment complaint filed by a former employee of the TV channel .Reportedly, the woman named Deepti made complaint against the COO .

The woman also submitted her WhatsApp conversation, messages and call records to police to substantiate her claim .Deepti resigned five months ago as she was transferred to Kerala. This was second such incident after a news editor who was arrested this year on a similar complaint by an anchor.

Earlier this year, a news editor of the group was arrested based on similar allegations by a news anchor.
