Google has always been known for paying hefty pay cheques for its employees. The remuneration package of Googleâs current CEO Sundar pichai will surely left you in a state of shock. Filing from Google's parent company Alphabet offers insight of the salary of india born CEO. As per the filings Sundar Pichai received a $100.5 million(RS 6,67,01,85,00) pay package in 2015.
Pichai received a $652,500 as salary apart from 273,328 class C shares which amounting to $99.8 million. He also received $22,935 as other components. With this Sundar now joins the list of top executives in the USA with highest pay packages. Pichai overtakes Satya Nadella who reportedly has a package of $84.3 million
And this is not the end of it. If reports are true, this number is expected to double in this year to $200 million which in Indian currency comes out to approximately Rs.1328 crores.
