The ongoing novel Coronavirus continues to ring the danger bells in the country. Despite the country registering fewer fresh cases, high profile people like politicians and celebrities contacting the virus is raising concerns.
As the latest development, Actor-turned-politician and BJP MP from Punjab's Gurdaspur Sunny Deol has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. He confirmed the same.
Sunny Deol took to Twitter to announce the news of getting infected with the respiratory disease. In his tweet made in Hindi, he said he underwent Corona tests and test reports declared him positive for the virus. He said he is doing fine.
Sunny Deol has been staying in the Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh. As he and his family members are planning to return back to Mumbai for his upcoming film, he underwent a Corona test. As his test reports came positive, he went into isolation.
On the work front, he is working on the sequel of hit drama Apne, Apne 2. The film also stars, his father Dharmendra, brother Boddy Deol and son Karan Deol. The film is slated for release on Diwali 2021.
