Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to show his Box Office stamina once again with his latest outing 'Vikram Simha' (Kochadaiyaan in Tamil). This one of its kind projects is gearing up for release in the first week of July this year to shatter the existing records.
Rajinikanth plays dual role in the flick - one as a warrior and the other as a well-toned guy. Yesteryear actress Sobhana was cast opposite the him for one role and Deepika Padukone would be playing his love interest for the other role. Rajini's daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth is wielding the megaphone. Music of the film is by AR Rahman.
Lakshmi Ganapathi Films had acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of this biggie for a whoofing Rs 30 crore, which is said to be highest for a dubbed flick.
'Vikram Simha' is Asia's first performance capturing film, a technology used in the Hollywood flicks 'Avatar' and 'Tin Tin'. It's a unique concept that immortalizes Rajinikanth. The film also consists of some breathtaking stunts and dances.
