Dealing with the matter as suo moto, a constitutional bench of the Supreme Court made sensational comments on the Coronavirus situation in the country and issued directives to implement the Covid-19 in the country.

The constitution bench led by Justice Ashok Bhushan comprising justices RS Reddy and MR Shah referred pandemic situation as a "world war against Covid-19".

The bench maintained that every state should act attentively so that the situation gets under control. It also directed the concerned authorities to see that more and more police personnel are deployed at places where public gathering is possible.

The police personnel should be deployed at Food courts, eateries, vegetable markets, bus stations, and railway stations so that people won't gather in large numbers.

The bench has also said that permission for celebrations should be given by the local authorities unless it's an emergency. Even if permissions were given, they should see that the guidelines are followed.

Talking about the frontline warriors who served the nation during the tough times, the bench said, required steps should be taken to see that they get to take some rest.

Since the pandemic, doctors, nurses, and other frontline workers have been serving the nation. They are exhausted both physically and mentally, the bench said.
