Supreme Court delivers its Final Judgement on Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid Dispute
utting an end to one of the longest-running disputes and much political and religious sensitive land Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid, the constitution bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi has given the 2.77-acre land to Hindu parties and ordered that Ayodhya Trust should be established within three months. The trust will monitor the construction of Ram Mandir.
The five-judge bench has ordered that the Sunni Waqf Board will be given 5 acres of alternative land.
The verdict came out, nine years later the judgment given by the Allahabad High Court, which ordered the disputed 2.77 acres of land should be divided equally into three parts and given to the parties- Ram Lalla, Sunni Waqf Board, and the Nirmohi Akhara.
The apex court has also said that the Mosque should be constructed at a ''prominent site'' in Ayodhya. This site was occupied by the Babri mosque in the 16th century, which was later destroyed by the Hindu Kar Sevaks on December 6, 1992.
According to the faith of Hindus Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya. ''The existence of Sita Rasoi, Ram Chabutra and Bhandar grih are the testimony of the religious fact of the people,'' the apex court observed.

With the verdict of much disputed Ayodhya verdict, police forces were gathered around areas like Jama Masjid and some parts of Old Delhi. Though shops were left open, they were subjected to some restrictions.
To take the situations under control, Vajra van, Police van of Delhi police were stationed outside the mosque. The areas have witnessed high security compared to normal days.

Zafaryab, Lawyer of Sunni Waqf Board said he is not happy with the final judgment. ''We are not satisfied with the verdict. But will respect the order. We will seek a review of the verdict, 5-acre land has no value for us. We are appealing for calm and quiet,'' Zafaryab said.
Supreme Court gave a green signal for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama according to the belief of Hindus.
The apex court has ordered that the disputed land will be allotted to Hindus for the construction of Ram Mandir. Five acres of alternate land will be allotted to Sunni Waqf Board. The land will be given either by the state or the Central government.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has welcomed the verdict delivered by the Supreme Court on the Ayodhya verdict. He took to Twitter to share his feelings on this.
''The five judge bench of Supreme Court after hearing arguments of all parties gave its verdict. We welcome the SC judgment. The SC gave its verdict on decades old dispute. The dispute of many years ended today. I appeal to all maintain peace and harmony,'' read his tweet.
Following the verdict on the much-disputed Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid land disputed, Mobile internet services were suspended in some parts of Rajasthan as a precautionary step.
As a precautionary measure, internet services have been canceled for 24 hours of a period, in Jaipur, Alwar, and Sikar.
