Cash-for-Vote: SC sets 4 Weeks deadline for HC!

The sensational Cash-for-Vote case is have too many twists n turns. After the YCP MLA moved High Court, ACB was asked to reinvestigate the case and probe the role of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. Following which, Naidu moved a quash petition in Supreme Court.
Apex Court on Friday has asked High Court to take a decision on the quash petition within four weeks. SC given an option for the petitioner to approach it again if HC fails to do so in the given time.
YCP Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy challenged the 8 weeks stay on the ACB Court trail on Cash-for Vote in Supreme Court. The Counsel of Opposition MLA argued that stay should be lifted as reinvestigation was ordered only after ACB Court was satisfied with the voice samples proofs of CBN. Supreme Court, however, maintained that it can't interfere in that matter as High Court has given the stay but ordered the lower court to resolve the issue in the next four weeks.
