SC Sets Deadline @ TFI Drug Scandal

The Supreme Court directed Centre to prepare guidelines to curb the drug menace in the society.
Director-cum-Producer Kethireddy Jagadeswar Reddy moved a petition in SC seeking CBI Probe into Tollywood Drug Scandal. During the hearing, A Bench headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra expressed it's anguish on the Union Government for not preparing guidelines so far. Four Months time was given to Centre for taking all the necessarily measures.
When Additional Solicitor General Manindar Singh who appeared on behalf of Centre sought two months time for preparing guidelines citing seeking AIIMS Cooperation and Issuing notices to the states is a time taking process. Then, The SC Bench asked Central Government to prepare guidelines first instead of worrying about notices for States.
August 31st has been set as the deadline for finalizing the guidelines. Next hearing of the case would be on September 10th, 2018.
