How Supreme Court Stunned Gali?
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 May 2018 12:24 PM GMTThe Supreme Court Today turned down the plea of Gali Janardhan Reddy to visit Bellary for campaigning in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly Polls.
Mining Baron wishes to tour Bellary for the campaigning to ensure his brothers Gali Somashekhara Reddy, Gali Karunakar Reddy and his close aide B Sreeramulu, who are contesting on BJP Tickets, emerge victorious. He even preferred dates May 8th, 9th and 12th for his Bellary Tour.
However, Supreme Court made it clear Gali Janardhan Reddy was granted bail on condition that he shouldn't visit Bellary and hence his appeal can't be entertained.
Gali was arrested in connection with the Obulapuram Mining Scam in 2011. He was taken into custody within days after granting bail by a Judge who accepted bribe. Finally, Supreme Court had granted him bail in 2015.
