Senior Actor joins BJP

Malayalam actor and Rajya Sabha Member Suresh Gopi on Wednesday joined BJP officially.
Suresh Gopi is always vocal about his support to BJP. He extensively campaigned for BJP during the Kerala Assembly polls and took part in the rallies with Narendra Modi. Saffron Party thought of fielding Suresh Gopi as its candidate from Thiruvananthapuram Assembly segment. The 57-Year-Old Actor, however, softly turned down the proposal.
Because of his services, Suresh Gopi was nominated to Rajya Sabha recently by the Saffron Party. Today's development is just a formality.
BJP managed to win an Assembly seat in Kerala Polls for the first time ever. Its candidate O Rajagopal won from Nemom Constituency.
