Suriya fears for his daughter future

Unlike other Stars Tamil hero Suriya is the one who used to live in reality. Suriya is a thinking person, deeply sensitive, but holds back expressing his emotions.On the otherday Surya attended for audio launch of ‘Malini 22 Palayamkottai’ and spoke his heart out on some serious issues.
Suriya told “It is a fact that women safety is one of the major issues we are facing currently. In spite of taking so many measures, as a society, we are not able to stop the rapists. Women should be more careful to avoid such issues. I have a daughter. I get scared whenever I think of her future.”
Malini 22 is a film based on female harassment. Nitya Menen is playing a girl who gets raped. Surya spoke about the safety of girls for a long time. This film based on the revenge of a young woman who has been physically and sexually abused and this theme led to Suriya saying that with the present state of affairs in the country he fears for his own daughterÂ’s future and safety.
He also went on to point out that a leading U.S magazine had warned people from going to India and said that there was a ‘rape festival’ going on here.
