Getting a corporate job is a dream of many as it comes with perks like a five-digit salary, bonuses, yearly increments, foreign trips, and holidays on weekends. Employees like to enjoy this work life.

However, a survey said that there is a lack of peace of mind among corporate employees. Shocking aspects came to light in the survey named 'The Silent Struggle' that was empowered by Aditya Birla Education Trust.

The report said that the mental health of corporate employees is reducing. The survey was conducted to examine the mental health of corporate employees besides understanding the required aspects to conduct sessions for the better mental health of employees.

In the Aditya Birla Group survey, the Corporate employees revealed sensational things. They said that the stress from management has been increasing day by day. They are unable to have peaceful sleep to reach their targets. Expressing concerns, they said that they are unable to eat food with the stress. Employees working in half of the Corporate companies complained that their mental health is deteriorating.

Around 3000 employees working in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Pune took part in the survey. Out of them, 1627 are men and 1373 are women. While 2640 of them are from the 30-45 age group, 291 employees are between 46-60 and 69 employees are over 60 years.

It is said that the survey found 48 percent of employees said their mental health is at risk. Seeing the issue from the group's point of view, 56 percent of women and 41 percent of men are at risk. This is a big concern.

71 percent of employees who are above the age group of 60 are found to be at risk of mental health, while 48 percent of employees in the 46-60 age group and 47 percent of employees in the age group of 30-45 are facing the risk.
