Survey Should be Optional, not Forcible: HC

Giving its judgment on a petition filed challenging the legality of the survey, the High Court announced its decision. The court allowed the government for the survey and clarified that the survey should be optional as people have a right to decide on their participation in the survey.
It also asked the government not to trouble people by seeking personal details. HC also instructed that Personal details like bank account, IT returns, Own Vehicles,.. etc should be asked in the survey.Other side Telangana Government issued orders declared a holiday on August 19 to all the employees and workers employed in Private Establishments and Factories.
