Murderer Wants To Join BJP, Runs Away After Police Try To Nab Him

The Tamil Nadu BJP was shell-shocked on knowing that a person who desperately wanted to join the party ahead of the elections was actually an accused in six murder cases and that the police had launched a manhunt for him. Thankfully for the party, this was detected well in time and the accused ran away.
Surya, who is an accused in six murders and has over 35 murderous assault cases, came to the BJP office in Tamil Nadu on Monday and expressed the desire to join the party in the presence of the State president Murugan. But, before the formality could be completed, the police, who were on the lookout for him, came to the State BJP office. Seeing them, Surya simply vanished from the scene.
The police told a bewildered BJP that Surya was wanted in several cases and that all the cases were of extremely serious nature. The BJP has clarified that there was no mechanism in the party to look into the antecedents of everyone who wants to join the party. However, the police arrested four of Surya's associates.
