#MeToo: Techie Commits Suicide!

A Software Professional who is under investigation for sexual harassment has committed suicide in his residence in Noida on Wednesday.
Swaroop Raj, an assistant vice president in Genpact, hanged from the ceiling fan in his home at Sector 137 in Noida. Upon receiving information from his wife, Cops reached the spot and shifted the body for post-mortem.
Getting motivated by the #MeToo Movement, Two Employees of Genpact accused Swaroop Raj of sexually harassing them. Following which, The company barred him from taking any official work until he attains clean chit. He was an employee of Genpact since 2007.
In the suicide note addressed to his wife, Swaroop Raj termed the allegations against him are baseless but the world will look at him with the same eye. 'I want to let you know how much I love you. The allegations are baseless and the entire Genpact will soon know about it. I don't have the courage to face everyone. I want you to be strong and live your life with respect, your husband has not done anything. I am leaving as everyone will look at me with eyes of disgust even if I come clean," the letter read.
Apart from condemning the death of Swaroop Raj, Genpact maintained that it would protect the privacy of the deceased techie by not divulging the details of the complaint.
So far, Swaroop Raj's Family hasn't filed any complaint. Police will probe the case from other angle as well taking cognisance of the matter.
