Since Sunday a few media outlets are carrying out news on the possible arrest of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy in the YS Vivekananda Reddy case. Citing the arrests of Avinash's aide Uday Kumar and Bhaskar Reddy, the media outlets expressed this doubt. Moreover, the CBI summons Avinash Reddy to appear before them for questioning.
Following this, he moved the High Court seeking anticipatory bail. The High Court posted the hearing to Tuesday hearing the petition on Monday. So everyone waited eagerly to know what the court would say on this. Another twist hit the case today.
The suspense on YS Avinash Reddy's anticipatory bail continues as the High Court postponed the hearing to Wednesday. The High Court was supposed to hear the petition on Monday. But the case was postponed to Tuesday and now the case was posted on Wednesday. For the second consecutive day, the hearing was postponed.
Earlier the CBI asked the Kadapa MP to appear before them at 4 PM today. But the questioning date was also changed due to this. As the High Court will hear the petition on Wednesday, the CBI also asked the MP to appear before them tomorrow. The same was informed to the court as per the reports.
In the petition, YS Avinash Reddy maintained that he wants prevention from the arrest and leveled serious allegations against Vivekananda Reddy that he had affairs with family members of the accused. On the other hand, the CBI informed the High Court that if required they will arrest the MP.
