Recently, A Reddy Leader from Rayalaseema met AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to discuss about the conditions for his entry into Telugu Desam Party. Tickets Allotment and Election Expenditure have come up for discussion between them.
This Reddy Leader demanded 1 MP Ticket and 3 MLA Tickets for him & his coterie. Even TDP Leaders wondered how could one leader seek so many seats.
In 2014 Elections, This Politician who's family is in politics since decades contested on Congress Ticket and attained only 3rd Place though he served as Minister until then. Can he help TDP win all the four seats is a million dollar question.
TDP Leadership seems to be of the impression that succumbing to the demands of one leader would only expose it's weakness. This could be why the entry of Reddy into TDP is getting delayed.
May be, The Ruling Party could convince the Senior Leader to settle for 1 MP Ticket and 1 MLA Ticket.
