He has successfully divided the American society into two with his approach towards the migrated population and the people who are planning to migrate to the US.
It is known that Trump government is tightening the regulations for H1-B applicants. The latest addition to the regulations is that the persons who have applied for Green Card, having an H1-B will not be extended their stay after the expiry of their visa time. This will have a direct impact on 5 lakh H1-B visa holders staying in the USA at present according to an estimation. As the majority of them were Indians, they were worried about the future.
Responding a news article of Economic Times "#India may be looking at upwards of 500,000 of its "skilled" workforce returning home from #America", Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra tweeted that 'If that happens, then I say Swagatam, Welcome Home 'You're coming back in time to help India Rise.."
