Swami Goud Finally Joins BJP Campaign

Finally, at long last, the BJP has managed to placate former chairperson of the Telagnana legislative council Swami Goud to campaign for the party in the graduate constituency elections. Swamy Goud, an influential leader of the government employees, did not campaign all these days.
With the TRS roping in TNGO leaders, secretariat employees association leaders and gazette officers association for the campaign, the BJP too needed a face. But, Swami Goud, who joined the BJP during the GHMC elections and campaigned vigorously, was silent. He did not evince any interest in the campaign. Sources said Swami Goud himself wanted to contest from the Hyderabad-Nalgonda-Rangareddy constituency. But, since Ramachandra Rao was the sitting MLC, he was fielded again. Disappointed, Goud was keeping a low profile.
However, the BJP felt that he would be a perfect foil for the government-sponsored union leaders. On Monday, he has campaigned for the BjP candidate Premender Reddy in Nalgonda and Warangal He interacted with the government employees and retired employees who are voters in the election. He is likely to campaign in the days to come.
