Saffron Swamy To Back TDP In AP

The assembly elections are fast approaching in Andhra Pradesh and it would be only a matter of time before the election notification is released. Once this happens, all parties will get into election mode. Already, Chandrababu and YS Jagan are criss-crossing the state and are finetuning their strategies. Even Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are visiting the state as often as they can. But, Swami Paripoornananda, who played a key role as the star campaigner of the BJP in Telangana, seems to be missing in action.
The high profile Swamy, who helihopped from place to place all across Telangana, is strangely silent. There has been no political comment at all from him. He has not spoken about either contesting or campaigning in Andhra Pradesh.
If sources are to be believed, instead of campaigning for the BJP, the Swami might quietly back the TDP. Paripoornananda has recently met several key TDP leaders like Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Gowthu Shymsundar Sivaji and others and discussed politics with them. He may not openly join the TDP campaign, but might influence several of his key desciples to vote for the TDP. Knowing Swami’s plans, the BJP in AP too has not even approached him.
