Paripoornananda Swamy To Contest Election?

No other party except BJP follows the practice of fielding religious leaders in the elections. Be it Uma Bharti or Yogi Adityanath, They fall in the same category. Few MPs in the Parliament are saints/seers/religious leaders who promote Hindutva. Views expressed by such leaders sparked an uproar at times & invited criticism towards BJP but the practice continues.
During his Telangana Tour, Amit Shah seems to have contemplated on fielding Paripoornananda Swamy in the next elections from any of the Telugu States. Paripoornananda comes from RSS Background and he have a controversial image. He made headlines because of the tiff with Kathi Mahesh over Ramayan & Dharmagraha Yatra. To maintain Law & Order, Hyderabad Police banned the Sri Peetam Head for a period of six months.
BJP & Hindu Organizations stood supportive of Paripoornananda Swamy. He became an icon of Hindus for fighting against those who hurt the religious sentiments of people. So, Possibility of fielding Paripoornananda as BJP candidate in next election can't be ruled out. He could be in race for Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat if everything falls in place. Amit Shah might take a final call in September this year.
