Swiggy announces Vaccination to delivery staff, company will bear the vaccine cost

2020 has been a tough year with the pandemic outbreak. The frontline workers and health warriors came to the rescue and rendered their services. As a token of acknowledging their services, the government gave special importance to them in the first phase of the vaccination drive.
During the tough period, the food delivery agents had also played a crucial role. But they remained unsung heroes in the pandemic period. India's largest online food ordering and delivery platform Swiggy came forward to acknowledge their efforts.
Swiggy took to Twitter to announce that the delivery executives will be vaccinated against the novel Coronavirus for free of cost. The food delivery app will take care of the vaccine cost.
"From essentials to food, delivery partners have always been our lifelines. We're happy to announce that we're supporting 100% of the vaccination cost for our entire delivery fleet and that this entire drive will be facilitated by us to keep them and you safe. #DeliveringHope," Swiggy tweeted.
The noble gesture of Swiggy towards the delivery executives made the netizens shower praises on the food delivery app. Netizens lauded the app for not neglecting the executives, who rendered their services during the tough time.
