All you have to do is to book an order with food delivery operators Swiggy or Zomato. Yes. Swiggy will soon take online orders for liquor and deliver them at one's doorstep. Zomato is likely to follow suit quickly.
The good news is that Swiggy has started delivering liquor at the doorstep in Jharkhand's Ranchi and the response has been very encouraging. The next stop for Swiggy could be Telangana, Haryana and Odisha. Swiggy sources said that the operations will be launched once the market research is done in Telangana. Telangana is one of the states that witnessed mad rush at the liquor outlets when the government allowed wine shops. Ignoring pandemic fears, huge crowds gathered at the wine shops even before the break of the dawn and the rush continued throughout the day with people braving scorching sun.
