Swine Flu back in Telangana

As many as 3 cases of Swine Flu were reported in state capital Hyderabad and other districts of Telangana in the past one week. All those tested positive for the deadly H1N1 virus are undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad and other hospitals. Unconfirmed reports say, Two more people affected with the virus were treated at a private hospital.
A Senior Physician assures the situation is still very much under control. He attributes the fresh cases to the mass gathering during the Godavari Pushkaralu.
Special ward for Swine Flu patients has been set up in Gandhi Hospital. Even an awareness programme on how to tackle the virus was held on Monday.
Temperatures are going to fall to a considerable extent in the next few months. In view of the severe outbreak of H1N1 last year, Heath Department has been taking as many precautionary measures as possible.
