Swiss Couple brutally attacked in India

A Group of Youngsters attacked Swiss Couple with stones and sticks near the railway station in Fatehpur Sikri, which is the city founded by Mughal emperor Akbar in the 16th Century. Quentin Jeremy Clerc (24) and his girlfriend Marie Droz (24) collapsed on the ground after being beaten so badly. Bystanders filmed their plight instead of coming to their rescue.
The attack was so brutal that Clerc's skull got fractures, a clot developed in his brain and a blow to the ear even caused hearing impairment. Even Marie's arm was broken and she had multiple bruises.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj sought information from UP Government regarding the attack on Swiss Couple.
Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma termed the incident very unfortunate. Whereas, Union Minister of State for Tourism KJ Alphons opined such incidents damage the image of India.
Swiss Embassy told all possible help is being provided to their Citizens who were attacked.
