T Congress Mla Lashes Out At Celebrities For Tweets On Farmers' Agitatio
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Feb 2021 10:17 AM GMTThe ongoing farmers' agitation against the controversial Agriculture bills received global criticism. Global celebrities across the fields have voiced their support for the farmers.
Amid global criticism over the Agriculture bills, Indian celebrities from the Bollywood fraternity and Cricket fraternity have stood in support of the government in the much-talked-about issue.
However, this did not go well with Telangana Congress MLA Jagga Reddy. He lashed out at the celebrities for making tweets in support of the union government.
The MLA said farming is not easy as playing cricket on the ground and uttering dialogues and doing the dance. They should stop rushing to make unnecessary comments on the protests.
All these celebrities and cricketers who are tweeting in support of the government can step on the farm and do farming. Raising and taking care of crops is not that easy, the MLA said.
Addressing the media, the Legislator said these crickets and celebrities who eat food grown by the farmers are making comments against the protests. At least, Indian celebrities should learn from the global celebrities who are supporting farmers' protests.
