Indications have been coming that Telangana process will not begin before 2014 general elections. The reports submitted by chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy stating Congress will be wiped out completely in the Seemandhra region have be showing its effect on the mindset of the High Command. Even PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and Governor ESL Narasimhan has appealed to consider its announcement on July 30th to restore normalcy in the Seemandhra.

CM Kiran is firm on his stand that division process shouldn't begin without giving a clarity to the people of Seemandhra on the issues like water sharing, power, revenue and Status of Hyderabad. Even PCC chief Botsa appealed to the centre to take representatives of both the regions into confidence on the division process.

After discussing the issue with leadership, Congress MLAs from Seemandhra have been expressing confidence that division process willn't begin before 2014 polls. "High Command promised to resolve all the issues before proceeding with division. This indicates Telangana willn't be a reality before 2014 elections," said MLA Kothapalli Subbarayudu.
