T20 WC: Consecutive Wins Place India At Top In Table Position

There is no stopping Team India in the ongoing T20 World Cup. After winning against arch-rivals Pakistan in the first match, Rohit's men crushed the Netherlands with a margin of 56 runs. India shined in both batting and bowling departments. With this, the Men In Blue recorded two back-to-back wins.
India batted first and posted a big score of 179 on the card. Despite KL Rahul losing his wicket cheaply, captain Rohit Sharma, Run Machine Virat Kohli, and 360 player Surya Kumar Yadav scored half-centuries and helped India post a good total.
Coming to bowling, Swing King Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Axar Patel, Ashwin, and Arshdeep Singh picked two wickets each with Kumar having the best economy. Mohammed Shami picked one wicket. Arshdeep Singh came very close to having a hattrick. But he could not.
With two wins India is in the top position in the table. In the next match, India will lock horns with South Africa. Records are favouring us as South Africa did not win against us in the world cup at least once.
The partnership between Surya Kumar Yadav aka SKY and Virat Kohli helped India. The two players made a key partnership of 95 runs with him. Earlier he made a partnership of 73 with Rohit Sharma. SKY played a crucial cameo and scored 51 in just 25 deliveries. He finished the innings in style by smashing a six. Kohli continued his brutal form and scored 62 off 44 deliveries.
