Tagore Working To Install Revanth As PCC Chief

Is the Congress high command preparing to hand over reins of PCC to Revanth Reddy? Has party affairs incharge Manickam Tagore been entrusted with the task of making Revanth Reddy the PCC chief? Congress insiders say the high command has asked Tagore to facilitate the appointment of Revanth Reddy to the PCC chief post. Revanth Reddy is young, dynamic and has fighting spirit. He has showed his fighting streak on many an occasion. Though the party has made him the working president, he will have full control of the party only if he is made the PCC chief.
However, some senior leaders are said to be pathologically opposed to Revanth Reddy and are moving heaven and earth to prevent him from becoming the PCC chief. They want Uttam Kumar Reddy to continue as the PCC chief. However, the high command feels that Uttam Kumar Reddy has outlived his utility and must be replaced at the earliest with someone who is dynamic. So, Tagore is now getting leaders like Madhu Yashki to attack Uttam Kumar Reddy's leadership . Based on this criticism, he would try to install Revanth Reddy to the top post in the state.
