Taj Mahal is now First Monument on Twitter

Taj Mahal, India's best tourist attraction, joined the social networking site Twitter on the eve of 69th Independence Day. In reality, It is the first monument in the World to have its own Twitter handle.
Taj Mahal (@TajMahal) first tweet - 'There are two kinds of ppl in the world. Those who have visited me and follow me here and those who haven't seen me and yet follow me here.'
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav launches the hashtag MyTajMemory inviting people across the World to share their most lovable Taj moments on social media. The Country's Youngest CM himself uploaded a picture of himself shot when he, his wife Dimple and Kids visited the monument in February 2015.
In a span of 3 hours, Taj Mahal Twitter handle generated more than 2,500 followers. In a day, It crossed the 10,000-mark and still counting.
