Telangana records 40% Growth in Commercial Taxes

Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav declares that the revenue generated through Commercial Taxes increased by 40 per cent post the bifurcation of the State. Thanks to the Inter-State Check Posts & Taxes!
Department of Commercial Taxes has already achieved 80 percent of its target in the current financial year. The Minister says credit goes to the people for being honest in tax paying.
Defending TRS Government's move to introduce Cheap Liquor, Talasani states the agenda is to eradicate the spurious liquor which is harmful to the lives of people. Talasani opined welfare schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak are introduced by TRS Government in the best interest of the poor families in the state. He attributes the delay in filling vacant posts in government to delay in division of employees between AP & Telangana.
Reiterating that he is ever-ready for the by-poll, Talasani hinted he wouldn't fear demanding re-election if such situation arises.
