TRS achieved landslide victory in the 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls. Ruling Party managed to win most of the constituencies in Greater Hyderabad. Although TDP believed Settlers would continue to stay supportive of them, Voters favoured KCR-led TRS Government in GHMC limits. Population of Settlers is more in constituencies such as Kukatpally, Serilingampally, Malkajgiri, Sanath Nagar and Khairatabad. TRS emerged victorious in all of these constituencies.
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao decided to limit the number of Cabinet Berths to 18. This is why heavy lobbying is being done by the Ministerial Berth aspirants.
If the sources are true, Close to 10 MLAs will be inducted into TRS Cabinet in the first phase. In the capital region, Only one MLA might get an opportunity to be Minister. Talasani Srinivas Yadav (Sanath Nagar) and Danam Nagender (Khairatabad) have been competing to have the last laugh.
