No End For RTC Strike As Talks Fail

While the RTC Unions want the talks to be conducted on 26 demands placed by them, State Government don't want to consider more than 21 demands. Post the meeting, Joint Action Committee (JAC) Convenor Ashwathama Reddy declared strike will continue. He said, 'Never been before I had seen such a meeting in my life. This meeting happened amid restrictions. Not even we were allowed to carry our phones'.
JAC Co-convenor VS Rao found fault with the manner in which the meeting was conducted. He opined, 'Not even talks with Enemy Nation happens in such a way'.
TSRTC MD in-charge Sunil Sharma said JAC Leaders left the meeting midway saying they would return after holding talks with other leaders. He added, 'We waited till evening but they didn't come back'.
