Talwars refuse Rs 49,500 salary in Jail
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Oct 2017 4:32 PM GMTDentist couple Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar who were acquitted from the murder case of their Daughter Aarushi Talwar and Domestic Help Hemraj by the High Court were released from Dasna Prison on Monday, four years after they were sentenced to imprisonment. Cops escorted the Couple till they reached their Parents house in Jalvayu Vihar in Noida, New Delhi.
Talwars refused to accept a salary of Rs 49,500 which was offered to them by Jail Authorities for their medical service to the prison inmates in the past four years. The Couple even told they would visit the prison once in 15 days to continue the medical assistance to the prisoners.
13-Year-Old Aarushi Talwar was found dead in her bedroom on May 16th, 2008. Hemraj's body was found the next day on the roof of the apartment. Both Delhi Police and CBI alleged Rajesh Talwar had killed them in a fit of rage after watching them in a compromising position. Trial Court sentenced them to life imprisonment but High Court freed them due to lack of evidence.
